Pelagic Birds Tour (min 6 people)
Just 20 nautical miles West of Walvis Bay is a hidden world of strange and wonderful birds feasting on our nutrient waters. Spend the day scanning the waters for feathered friends that rarely approach land - look for the Cape cormorant, Cape gannet, white-chinned petrel, shy and black-browed albatrosses and many, many more! Our pelagic guide will be there to point out any sights you might miss, and answer any questions you may have.

Spend your morning touring Walvis Bay's harbour on the Seal & Dolphin Tour before heading out on a 4x4 adventure to visit the Topnaar community, living their lives in the barren beauty of the Namib Desert dunes. Learn about the importance of the water-retaining !Nara plant and how it is harvested. You will also have the opportunity to meet one or two local Topnaar dune artists.

What to wear?
It can be windy on the boat, warm clothes are recommended. Blankets will also be available on board.
What about seasickness?
Most of our tours are done in the morning, in the protected lagoon area, in order to avoid Walvis Bay's infamous wind!
Language
Our experienced guides will be there to give you a guided tour in English, Afrikaans or German, assist to your needs on the trip and to answer any questions you might have.
Safety
Your safety comes first. All skippers and boats have licenses and is sea worthy. All skippers have first aid training and the vessel is packed with all first aid material, life jackets for adults and children.
