We start the afternoon half of your combo tour to Sandwich Harbour by introducing you to our beautiful lagoon and salt pans filled with pink flamingos, before starting the amazing trip to Sandwich Harbour, through the dry Kuiseb Delta. Experience the crashing waves of the sea on one side, and the soaring heights of the sand dunes on the other. To get there we will brave the dunes, dipping and cresting the sand waves, and creeping slowly down a slip face to hear the dune roar a greeting! Should the tides be against us and the seas cut us off from the lagoon, we will climb the mighty dunes and take you to a view top instead. Included in this tour are some delicious platters, soft drinks, Namibian beer, juice and real filter coffee. It’s a day to remember!
Please note: The routes travelled may differ somewhat depending on the skipper, weather and sightings. We want you to see as much as possible and we’ll go out of our way to make it happen!
